Event Production / Related Projects

Influenced by my time in museum curatorial, I also put on events throughout NYC. I create interactive, sensory edible art spaces (sometimes for fun and also for hire) in attempts of forming a more equitable creative community. I co-founded Scratch 'n Sniff Studio, which has been mentioned in Grubstreet, Brooklyn Magazine, Eater, and more.

Clients include: Mastercard, Urban Outfitters Space Ninety 8, North Brooklyn Farms, Fernet-Branca, Put A Egg On It, Just Food, The Museum of Food and Drink, and House of Yes.

Examples include: designing edible installations representing different food histories of Brooklyn neighborhoods, using spices to create a natural tablecloth coloring book, producing a slimey spa party in a coffee shop , making art for North Brooklyn Farms' Greenpoint restaurant, Annicka, curating a portfolio of food-based artists for DAZED, and making food images for an iPhone app.

Independently, I have worked as a production manager at the Hester Street Fair, and I'm currently a Culinary Programs and Events Coordinator for a kids cooking space in Brooklyn teaching kids social justice through food. All of this is paired with freelancing for food stylists, artists, chefs, and supper clubs with a creative approach to food.
